Through the Pennsylvania CareerLink System, PWDC provides employment and training services to all job seekers over the age 18. Job seekers enrolled in the CareerLink System have access to the latest job trends as well as which companies are hiring. We review your experience to find the right job for you, and when needed, we help you get the training you need to qualify for today’s competitive jobs. The Employment, Advancement, and Retention Network (EARN)
Through the EARN System, PWDC provides employment and training services to individuals striving to reach economic self-sufficiency. Each participant enrolled in the EARN System receives personalized career guidance to make sure that he or she has the support needed to keep career goals on track. And our support is there from beginning to end, before and after employment. There are nine EARN Centers located in Philadelphia County to provide job readiness, employment and skills training to persons on welfare. Eligibility is determined by the County Assistance Office nearest to the participant's home. Find an EARN Center near you. »
