The Philadelphia Workforce Development Corporation is a part of a team that provides Rapid Response services to local businesses who are facing a reduction in workforce. Rapid Response is an early intervention service that assists workers and employers affected by layoffs, plant closures, or natural disasters. Resources provided under Rapid Response include help to find new employment, or connection to training, education and other related services. Rapid Response services can also be delivered to avoid a layoff.
