PWDC, or the Philadelphia Workforce Development Corporation, is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit corporation that serves as the City of Philadelphia’s fiscal agent for employment and training dollars. This grants us the ability to, along with our many partners, assess the region’s workforce needs and meet them in a manner that is efficient and most productive for our region’s employers and workforce. |

PWDC serves Philadelphia’s employer and job seeker communities by skillfully identifying areas of growth in the labor market, understanding employers’ current and future needs, and identifying candidates and training opportunities that will meet that need. From small business owners to major corporations, PWDC has served as an invaluable resource for employers looking for staffing services from an agency that has over 20 years of experience while providing free services to all, ensuring that the viability of the Greater Philadelphia region’s workforce is our primary concern. |
