About PWDC

In partnership with Pennsylvania CareerLink Philadelphia, PWDC has both employer representatives and staffing specialists that are trained to assess employer needs and job seeker qualifications. We serve employers and job seekers through the Pennsylvania CareerLink system, job fairs, targeted recruitment drives, and our regional network of training providers and social service agencies.

PWDC is often a major factor in retaining businesses in the City and attracting new jobs into our region

It is very often the case that when a job seeker visits a training provider to upgrade his/her skills or to train for a new career, PWDC is providing the financial assistance necessary to ensure that motivated individuals eager to establish their career paths have access to the tools they need.

PWDC also plays a major role in the sustenance of a vibrant employer community in the Greater Philadelphia region. By offering business services such as wage subsidy and tax credit information, on-the-job and customized training incentives, and more, PWDC is often a major factor in retaining businesses in the City and attracting new jobs into our region.
